On August 26th, 4 of our Temple Guardians set out for Illinois to join in the Grand Gathering. With Widows Sons from around the world attending, how could we resist. It was a wonderfully wet ride for the first few hours, then beautiful weather the rest of the way.

Spent the week with Widows Sons from every corner of the world. Starting with the meet and great and hanging out with brothers from Finland and Germany. To the first full day and meeting brothers from Guatemala, Mexico, Thailand, Columbia, and many more.

Our chapter took part in the ride to Milwaukee and a visit to the Harley Davidson museum where a 3 mile line of motorcycles took over the roadway for a little while.

2 of our chapter brothers even got branded IYKYK ;)

10 out of 10 would recommend.

We drove a combined total of right around 3500 miles that week between the trip up, to and from our accommodations, and the ride to Milwaukee, and loved every minute of it.

It was a great time meeting more of the fellowship we have associated with and a great reminder that the sun never sets on the Widows Sons and there is a brother in every corner of the world and lit the fire of fraternity making all of us more invested in our community than before. Can’t wait until next we meet!
